The featherweight division better stay on its toes, Jose Aldo will be back sooner, rather than later.
Hoping to fight at least once more before the end of 2012, the UFC’s featherweight kingpin is expecting an October return upon news that his injured left leg will not require surgery.
Aldo’s manager Andre Pederneiras broke the news yesterday, and also mentioned that Aldo is currently taking part in physical therapy in Brazil and will soon meet with doctors to evaluate his progress.
As for his opponent, Erik Koch has opted to wait for the champion to return, and will welcome him back into the octagon this fall.
