While the MMA world has been abuzz with all the UFC news, their main competition, Bellator, has silently signed two exciting prospects to their roster.

First to join the organization is former Olympic hopeful Shawn Bunch. Bunch, a decorated wrestler, will be competing in the bantamweight division, and despite having no experience in MMA, was highly recommended by Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren, and soon-to-be Bellator fighter King Mo. Compiling a record of 132-24 while attending Edinboro University, Bunch fell short in his attempt to make the U.S. Olympic wresting team, but hopes to make a big splash in MMA, as he trains with American Kickboxing Academy.

While Bunch is certainly heralded as a potential top-level fighter, more attention should be shown to Alexander Sarnavskiy. The Russian fighter, who enters the season seven lightweight tournament as the number one seed, has amassed a very impressive 20-0 record. An M-1 veteran, Sarnavskiy recently made a couple of trips to North America to compete, winning both of those bouts by submission. The exciting prospect has six knockouts and eleven submissions in his twenty career wins.
